Terms of Use

1. About Kimoora

Kimoora is a free passion project — not a commercial product, not a subscription, and not a paid service. It's built and maintained by an individual creator (a mom) for other parents who want a warmer way to keep up with their kids' activities. By using Kimoora, you agree to these Terms of Use.

2. It's Free, Forever

Kimoora is and always will be free for parents to use. There are no paid plans, no subscriptions, and no payments required to access any feature. Donations are welcome but completely optional — they help keep the lights on, and a portion is shared with causes the creator cares about.

Because Kimoora is free and does not process any payments, there is no refund policy — no fees are ever charged, and donations are voluntary and non-refundable.

To help keep Kimoora running, non-intrusive ads may occasionally appear in the app. We aim to keep any advertising minimal and unobtrusive — Kimoora will never be ad-heavy, and ads will never get in the way of your experience. They don't affect your data or how the app works.

3. Provided "As Is"

Kimoora is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. There are no guarantees of uptime, availability, performance, or service continuity. The app may have bugs, may go down for maintenance, may change, or may be discontinued at any time at the creator's discretion.

4. Your Data is Your Responsibility

While we do our best to keep your data safe, the creator is not responsible for data loss of any kind. You are encouraged to back up any information that matters to you (export children, packs, photos, journal entries, etc.) so you always have your own copy.

5. Acceptable Use

Please don't use Kimoora to:

  • Do anything illegal, harmful, or harassing
  • Upload content that doesn't belong to you or that violates someone's privacy
  • Try to break, scrape, or abuse the service
  • Pretend to be someone else

When adding to the Activity Directory, please keep entries neutral and informational — this is a shared public space, and we want it to feel welcoming for every family. Leave out personal opinions, negative commentary, or judgments about activities, organizers, or anyone connected to them. If you wouldn't say it kindly to another parent's face, it probably doesn't belong here. 🙂

The creator may suspend or remove accounts that misuse the app — without notice — to keep Kimoora safe for the families who depend on it.

6. Your Content

Anything you put into Kimoora — children's names, class details, photos, notes — is yours. You're giving Kimoora permission to store and display it back to you (and the family members you invite) so the app can do its job. Nothing more.

7. Changes

Kimoora is a living project. Features, designs, and these terms may change at the creator's discretion. Continued use after changes means you're okay with the updated terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the creator is not liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by using (or being unable to use) Kimoora. Use it because you love it — not because you're depending on it for anything critical.
